Zena Gazoo is a home for sketchy artwork, paper tools for real-life women, personal reflection, strange beauty, and stories that live a little outside the lines.
This is not a brand about becoming perfect.
It is about becoming more yourself.
About noticing what makes a life feel true from the inside, even when it does not look impressive from the outside.
About trusting what experience has already taught you.
About building a small world that actually fits.
And about making something tangible from all of it.
A Real-Life Woman Building A Real-Life World
I have never been especially interested in becoming the kind of woman other people expected me to be.
My life has been shaped by long relationships, caregiving, business, creativity, animals, plants, hard seasons, strange ideas, shared dreams, and the decision to keep choosing what feels meaningful.
A lot of that life would be easy for an outsider to misunderstand.
But outsiders only see pieces.
They do not see every conversation, every decision, every quiet responsibility, every inside joke, every act of care, every hard choice, or every year spent helping shape a future.
That is part of what this site is about.
Giving words, images, and form to the parts of life that often go unseen.
Paper Tools For Real-Life Women
The paper tools here are made for women building lives that feel like theirs.
Not perfect women.
Not polished women.
Not women trying to perform somebody else’s idea of success.
Real-life women.
Women who are figuring things out.
Women who care deeply.
Women who overthink.
Women who love fiercely.
Women who are stronger than they always realize.
Women who have helped build more than they have been given credit for.
Women who sometimes need a little proof of who they already are.
The printables, journal pages, prompts, quote cards, calendars, and reflection tools are designed to help make the invisible visible.
To help you notice what you know.
What you have handled.
What you have built.
What actually makes you happy.
And what you are done apologizing for.
Sketchy Artwork With A Life Of Its Own
I love artwork that feels a little rough around the edges.
Ink lines.
Botanical details.
Mountains.
Moons.
Flowers.
Purple, blue, and pink.
Old paper.
Strange little symbols.
Things that feel found instead of manufactured.
The art here is allowed to feel imperfect, atmospheric, personal, and alive.
Some pieces are quiet.
Some are odd.
Some are dark.
Some are soft.
Some feel like they came from a forgotten journal found in the woods.
That is exactly how I like it.
Fringe Stories
Then there are the stories.
Stories with mystery.
Stories with heat.
Stories with crime.
Stories with darkness.
Stories with strange people making questionable choices.
Stories that lean toward the psychological, the romantic, the unsettling, the emotional, and the unexplained.
Fringe Stories is where those worlds live.
Because not everything meaningful belongs in the light.
Some stories are better with shadows.
Why Zena Gazoo Exists
This site exists because I believe there are a lot of women who are waiting for permission to trust their own lives.
Permission to like what they like.
Permission to live differently.
Permission to care deeply.
Permission to stop performing.
Permission to make things.
Permission to be strange.
Permission to build a life that feels good from the inside.
I do not think we actually need permission.
But sometimes we need reminders.
That is what I want to make here.
Reminders in the form of paper tools.
Artwork.
Quotes.
Stories.
And little pieces of proof.
Your Life. Your Voice. Your Way.
You do not have to explain every part of your life until everybody else understands it.
You do not have to make your happiness look impressive.
You do not have to become a more acceptable version of yourself.
You can keep what is true.
You can trust what life has already proven.
You can build your little world on purpose.
And you can let it look like you.
Drawn rough. Lived real. Told from the fringe.
